French-born baker Patrice Ramain and his wife, Mary, started French Gourmet Bakery in 1973 after he moved from France in his early 20s. The bakery has remained a staple for American and French pastries in Houston for nearly 50 years.

Now daughter Lauren Ramain Montgomery and her daughter Marlee have joined the family business, and together the Ramains carry on this rich family heritage and an unwavering commitment to quality and service.
